FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are They Asked?

Financial assistance is available to alumni of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication who have successfully completed the Post Graduate Diploma course and meet the eligibility criteria defined by the Trust, including income limits and the absence of any medical insurance coverage.

Assistance is provided on a reimbursement basis for documented medical emergencies requiring hospitalisation (In-Patient Department). Out-patient treatment expenses are not covered.

Applications must be submitted by email to iimcaacare@gmail.com along with the required medical, income, and recommendation documents. The subject line should clearly mention the applicant’s name, batch, course, campus, and current city.

The maximum assistance available under the Care Fund is INR 20,000 per applicant, subject to review and approval by the Trustees. In exceptional cases, additional support mechanisms such as crowdfunding guidance may be offered.

Yes. IIMC alumni and well-wishers may contribute voluntarily to the IIMCAA Care Fund. For contribution details or other forms of support, please write to iimcaacare@gmail.com .
